corruption free what?

I wrote following email to IAC friends:

I am sharing some of my thoughts with you, please feel free to share further. politicians and corrupt people will try to confuse IAC supporters and common man by saying that:

Politican's clever argument#1: you can not eradicate corruption from society thru any law. (which is true)

Our response should be: We are not even trying that, we are fighting to setup a system called Lokpal who will keep "corrupt people" out from politics and civil service. our target area is politicians and civil service not society as whole. You cannot stop people from becoming corrupt, but with the help of a strong jan-lokpal you can certainly keep out and weed out corrupt people from politics and civil service.


Politican's clever argument#2: you can not pass comments on people drinking liquor and gambling etc.. thus implying that as if civil society is passing its own laws!!! ... (this is very delicate, who loves hardliners? nobody)  
Our response should be: we are not even trying that, we are trying to have a law (like right to recall and right to reject) which makes sure that, corrupt people who manage to sneak thru initial barriers can not go on rampage(like 2G ghotala) and can be bought down from power before they do any damage to country/poor people.

Politican's clever argument#3: We are not here to please everyone. (true "everyone" can not be pleased)

Our response should be: Political classes are only pleasing there own party high-commands, vote-banks and corrupt structure of bureaucracy, if they continue to please only their masters and the system behind which they perform all misdeeds and behind which they hide all the time, how will the vast majority of democracy be pleased? which is 90% of Indian population, all poor or under-privilege people - how will they be pleased? therefore we want politicinas to please the common man which is a majority and not political masters which are a minority.

Two more points were added (as response) to my post, i am adding one of them here with my comments:
 
Politicians argument : In a democracy, elected persons are to decide matters of corruption.
my thoughts: NO, NO and NO. The same people who make the laws, can not be and should not be trusted to keep vigil on 'following the same rules', many reasons: 1) politicians of impeccable character are far and few, its a rarity. 2) business houses constantly influence and lobby for favorable policies, so chances of a law with exploitable loopholes getting passed is a easy possibility. 3) not only character, but a sharp acumen is needed to form a great policy in any field - which is favorable for the nation, - which is again a rarity(the best may also fail, in a sense that some lawyer will become politician and start exploiting the loopholes.). can anyone ever tell how much water did the fish drink? you can't trust fish with water.
 

Our target and goal is very clear: corruption free politics and corruption free civil-service (all grades a to z, governance, law and media), to achieve that goal we want Jan-Lokpal an independent watchman+Juror of our democracy. 

never ever get into the trap of saying, that we are demanding or suggesting: corruption free society - even Gods failed trying that, i guess. After their multiple incarnations, this is where we are today...

Poll question on facebook.: New Law to fix all (f)laws.

All:

I want to propose a new law. A law which will make it mandatory, to review and re-write, the country's laws and constitution from scratch, every 50 years.

Time change and corrupt find ways around established laws. Also requirements, aspirations, methods and goals of people change to large extent in such a long period of time. why shouldn't the laws be re-written? after all that’s what has caused us all this misery.

everybody should be under lokpal. lokpal is not making any constitution, but only going to work on corruption complaints. so all citizens of this country - whatever post, should be under it. dharma teachs to be pious and non-corrupt, but in this age, we need an eye on th ground (lokpal) not in the sky (Lord) to make sure corrupt gets punished.

Rule of thumb for mass movement:

masses need clear mindset and clear message. In the absence of clear goal/objective, mass movement can not succeed. at this juncture, Anna's word should be final. team of 5 should be totally in sync.

Anna should be demanding complete janlokpal bill. no more discussion on any change whatsoever. country is with Anna.

only one question can be discussed: at what date bill will be introduced?

Comment on Indian Anti-corruption movement, Anna and good governance:

1. revolts happen all over world time and again. (but) India produces a 'jewel of a revolution', every time she is challenged.
this 8/16 freedom from corruption. lets stand up and support strong Janlokpal bill.
2. New age, new challenges, new enemy, new mahatma - Mahatma Anna Hazare
... his character is example for all.
3. only a person of spotless character can bring good governance. Ram-rajya can only happen with 'maryada-purshottam' - character is epitome of human civilization.
4. today’s politicians lack character, they can not be trusted.

Regarding devils popular argument: are people supporting Anna not indulging in giving bribes?

just in the same way as soul dwells in the same body in which all other faults dwell. Anna Hazare is present among us. Pious as a soul, unaffected by the actions done by the body, is the lone chariot to take the consciousness to the Lord. Hence Anna is the collective face of little goodness which exists in all of us.

Say if we are in a gutter, should we spend all our lives in gutter, of which the biggest worm is politician?

May the force be with him.

Regarding congress spokespersons’ strategy:

Safiudin Soz of congress is coming with an aim to waste everyone’s time on Newshour. he cleverly does not allow anyone to speak. keeps repeating "i am listening", thus making noise when other try to put forward truth/or counter point.

congress will have to payback. Newton’s third law: for every action there is equal and opposite reaction.

why only Jan-Lokpal bill?

all agree that no single piece of legislature can ever:
a) fix 100% of the issues it is wanting to address.
b) can not satisfy all groups, politicians and, "intellectuals".

hence we - the people of India - have chosen the "most honest" bill: Jan Lokpal bill to be passed as a law in our country. except few politicians and politically backed intellectuals are not in its favor. Politicians aim is to entangle the effort in endless meaning less talks and the so called intellectuals are upset, because their name is not among the "team of 5".

Change

What do we want to change?

the termite called politician, and the eaten up furniture called Government structure and Arrangement. This is decaying and started smelling foul. getting unbearable with every second, this needs to go.
We do not want any current politician back in power. all tainted politician and public servants should be barred from any public post for atleast 20 years.

In present India, is there a way around bribe?

Those who say people should not give bribes: here are few points to them:

1. corporates will always give bribes/kickbacks to get the rules bent/changed/deleted etc.

2. common man, when he lands up in a hospital between life and death/bad_health, he has no other way except to give whatever is asked. He has to SAVE HIS LIFE!

3. common man, when he KNOWS for sure, that justice wont happen, if he goes to court/police/”mantri”, he has no other way but to give whatever is asked and move on.

Becasue justice and its application(police) are not dependable anymore, one needs to thoroghly clean the system, using lokpal, and ensure it stays clean for future.

Also, with Lokpal country will just have to pick few honest and top-character people, to control all the ordinary joes. If someone comes and ask everyone to be a saint, he is not accepting the natural reality of materialistic attraction, for which people become corrupt in the first place.

Gandhi, Nehru, Indira, Sanjay, Rajiv and Mahtma Anna Hazare

Nehru: responsible for Tibet and PoK and northeast issues. was romancing white woman (Mrs. Mountbatten) when it was time secure the new born nations' boundaries. very loose character person, therefore he like to be called 'chacha' of kids so that he can be a dewar to all bhabhis.

Indira: responsible for corruption, plain and simple. her motto was power at any cost. responsible for Punjab problem along with Sanjay.

Sanjay: communal, hateful and responsible for rise of Bhinderwale/Punjab militancy. and utmost loss of character of congress party, along with Indira.

Rajiv: misfit ruler per Chankya (foreign born wife). Boforos scam, started hand in glove corruption with Reliance Industries.

so how did they rule the country for so long? because Mahatma Gandhi was associated with congress for so long. congress exploited this fact to the hilt.

now it is time to bury Mahatma Gandhi for the betterment of this nation and decimation of Nehru's poisonous seeds. Therefore, Mahatma for new age India is Mahatma Anna Hazare.
